Ken Curran has over 25 years experience working in the media as a regional and national newspaper journalist and editor.
Ken was assistant news editor and business editor with Independent News
& Media’s evening newspaper, The Evening Herald. He worked as
a general news journalist and sports/news journalist with the
group’s daily newspaper, The Irish Independent. He worked as
assistant news editor with the Evening Herald before editing the
paper’s business pages.
A graduate of the College of Commerce’s Journalism course he
worked on regional newspapers the Limerick Weekly Echo and the Connacht
Tribune, Galway. He also freelanced as a sports and news journalist for
RTE, Irish Examiner, Irish Times and Independent News & Media.
He established Ken Curran Communications in 2002. He has provided media
training for a number of key stakeholders and individuals.
Richard Canny has over 20 years media
experience. Richard worked as press officer with the Progressive
Democrats. He was employed by TV3 as a television news and current
affairs journalist. He joined the Athlone Voice newspaper and became
deputy editor. Richard is currently editor of the weekly newspaper, the
Longford News.
